Who are we?
 
 Malatya University Student Association- Malatyali Universite Ogrencileri Dernegi (MUSA) is a national student network strives in order to create a positive and a sustainable change in the society and in Malatya specifically. Its main objective is to work for a positive future for Malatya and is to protect and enrich the cultural values that students have in common. It is non-governmental organization, established by the students studying in Istanbul . In short what MUSA trying is, to make all Malatyali University students come together and preserve their traditional values and work for the Malatya development.
 
 Even though MUSA has started to work for society in 2004, it is officially established on March 2005. MUSA is considered to be one of the very few student groups in the world when its purpose of establishment is taken into account.
 
 MUSA, which has the philosophy of “COMMIT and CHANGE”, has become very reputable among people and appreciated very much by Malatya Community in a very short period of time.
 
 MUSA welcomes you very much if you want to work for Malatya , and want to have friends form universities all around Turkey .

 What we have done so far
 
 MIADAP
 MUSA is working with Malatya Business Association, to generate new business ideas for Malatya and for the region. MUSA has 24 members working on this project.
 
 
 OPEN DOORS
 MUSA is finding jobs and internships for new graduates and undergrad students. By this project, we are trying to make students meet Malatya businessmen, because MUSA strongly believes that there are a lot of gains for the businessmen and also for the students to be made.
 
 HOPE COURSE
 MUSA has ten volunteer university students tutoring middle school students, who are extremely poor to attend to a private course. Up to now our volunteers helped 25 of them for high school entrance exams. MUSA has all equipments and a special class for students at its office and helping them for free. This year, MUSA is going to work with Cocuk Esirgeme Kurumu (Children Protection Institute)
 
 MUSEUM
 MUSA organized museum trips for impoverished middle-school students of 45 who had never been in a museum before.
 
 SUPPORT FOR EDUCATION
 MUSA supported 1800 low income group first and middle-school students by distributing clothes and shoes which was approximately $40.000. (MUSA helped 600 students from Istanbul and 1200 students from Malatya )
 
 LIBRARY
 MUSA is trying to establish libraries in all 13 towns of Malatya . As of October 2006, there are 7000 books donated to MUSA and our first library of 3000 books was opened in Battalgazi.
 
 YENIDUS
 Yenidus is the 6-monthly publication of MUSA. It is a Literature and Art Magazine. 4 th issue was published on April 2006 and 5 th is forthcoming. For details www.yenidus.com ,
